Studio Rules
What to expect and respect during your visit to the studio.
Please note:This is Inkspot's standard guidance. Your artist may provide their own instructions — always follow what your artist tells you for your specific tattoo.
These house rules keep the studio safe, hygienic, and comfortable for everyone. Please read them before your appointment — by booking you agree to follow them.
Before you arrive
- Arrive on time. If you are running more than 15 minutes late, message your artist as soon as possible.
- Eat a proper meal and stay hydrated in the hours before your session.
- Do not arrive under the influence of alcohol or recreational drugs — your artist may refuse to tattoo you.
- Bring a valid photo ID. You must be 18 or older to be tattooed.
Guests and children
- Please bring at most one guest, and only if space allows. Check with your artist first.
- For health and safety reasons, children and pets cannot be in the tattooing area.
Health and hygiene
- Tell your artist about any allergies, skin conditions, medications, or medical conditions before starting.
- If you feel unwell or have an open skin infection on the area, reschedule rather than attend.
- All needles are single-use and disposed of safely. Equipment is sterilised between clients.
Payments
- You’re charged the full amount when the artist confirms your booking — your card is only authorized (held) beforehand, never charged for requests that are declined.
- There is no separate payment after your session — you pay once, on confirmation.
- If you cancel late or don’t show up, the artist keeps a 30% deposit; cancellations with more notice are refunded per the cancellation terms.
Respect and conduct
- Treat your artist and the studio with respect. Harassment or abusive behaviour will end the session.
- Ask before taking photos or video — other clients’ privacy must be respected.
